Supporting Kairos Program at Donovan State Prison
Once a year, the prison ministry Pastors to Prisoners hosts a weekend evangelism outreach program called “Kairos”
at Donovan State Prison. Inmates, most of them on life sentences, are invited to attend an in-prison retreat
weekend. From Thursday through Sunday, April 11-14, 18 prisoners are allowed to spend 10 hours a day in
worship, with music, mini-sermons, and introductory Bible study. We are supporting with letters of encouragement
and homemade cookies. Your 18 letters (in one Zip-Loc bag with accompanying envelopes and 1 pen matching the
ink you used to write them) and cookies (1 dozen per gallon Zip-Loc bag) have been gracefully received during worship service today.
Blessings!
